I was a second grade sub today and I learned that I do NOT know how to write in proper cursive(I do now!) NOR can I sound out words phonetically. I have so much fun subbing at my sons school...the teachers there love their jobs and their children, too. Just a happy place to be. But let me add that I don't plan on quitting my "day job" of Home Health Nursing/Case Management!!! I just need to stay away from the Smart Boards, they are too technical, LOL!
It is said that you learn something new everyday, and I honestly think of that at the end of each day..."What did learn today?", no matter how trivial it is.

I am learning to use a chainsaw

and that they can make you very sore at the end of the day

Time to take some Alleve and a hot bath!! One day I learned that I no longer bounce when I fall from a horse, I just SPLAT. I took a lot of Alleve after that incident.

I already did the hot bath, lol. I took some excedrin migraine, which has it all in it + caffiene

I also learned when cleaning out cages, not to dump the leftover food outside where the new puppy can munch on it. Makes her tummy not feel so good. She's all better now though.

Hmmm, are you talking about the "things" being the boys or the "things", oh, never mind...!!! LOL
I just know that my son had trouble aiming his "thing" when he first started out...it was sometimes a nightmare!

I homeschool my kids and I'm always learning new things. I'm not to sure if it makes me feel smarter or... well, stupider for not knowing it in the first place! LOL
