What do bobs need for nesting material?

Do they need nest box like chickens? Actually, not what they NEED but what do they like? What are they most comfortable with? My bobs are pets & I want to spoil them so what is the best I can give to them?

I bet they would love a shallow pan of pine shavings to make a nest in. My coturnix always dug a small hole in the shavings for the nest.

I gave mine an over-turned plastic bin with a door cut into it for a nest box and they moved in and nested in it. The hen appeared to feel safe in there.

Yep, mine liked it underneath a broken flower pot & under a hollow log.

Mine like over turned buckets with a mouse hole cut into the side and they drag the hay in, (like the one on the left in the first pic) or just a lot of grass hay to make a nest....

I think an upside down clay pot with a big hole gently cracked into it would be whimsical & cute!
