I'm getting ducks soon and planning to mix my own feed for them. What do your ducks like t eat and what do they eat in the wild? I'd like to give them a well balanced diet.

Nice of you getting ducks. I however suggest you post the question in the general duck thread. In any case are you planning on keeping wild ducks? It's hard to figure out what exactly ducks eat in the wild as their options are unlimited based on location and season.

I feed my mallards Mazuri Waterfowl feed from purina and supplement with finely chopped romaine lettuce in their water and treat them with frozen peas in their water as well as worms and meal worms! In the wild they eat bugs and other aquatic stuff you cant fully duplicate! They need a balanced diet and Mazuri provides that for them!
