What do hens do?

Just out of curiosity, do hens quit turning eggs toward the end of the incubation cycle?

Perhaps she can feel them rocking and rolling or hear them pipping and lets them be.

Yes, as the eggs near hatch time the hens stop turning the eggs.

Thanks, that surprises me, I figured we where just complicating things (human nature) . Not that I was about to mess with a system that works so well. Like I said, just curious.
