What do I do if we go under a shelter in place????

Hi! I am in the Dallas area and covid-19 isgetting pretty close! Just city’s next to where I live has it! Dallas is talking about putting a shelter in place if it gets any worse! But I’m worried about my animals! I know this is a stupid question when you hear shelter in place but can I still go to tractor supple I have a lot of animals that need different things and I don’t have the money to
Buy a lot and stock up on all of there needs? What should I do?

Hi. I've heard feed stores are considered essential businesses and are not expected to close. I live in new York city and we are already pretty locked down. The tractor supply near me is still open. Also I'm almost certain you'll be able to shop their website and have supplies shipped even if the store is closed.

I've heard mixed things about the stores here. But mostly no toilet paper or paper goods. I have been staying home too as much as possible.

Hello, I am new here, but I am in the San Francisco Bay Area and under shelter in place, and all the grocery stores, pet supply, and farm/garden supply stores are open. In fact, that is why we got our baby chicks -- we want to be prepared to be as self-sufficient as possible in the coming months. The local feed store sold out of over 500 chicks within 24 hours, so I expect you may have a lot of new members coming soon : )

I actually just went and got some chicks yesterday for the same reason al I made this post this morning and has of this evening we are under a shelter in place thank you all for your help I appreciate you helping me

Hey there, we live in Dallas as well! Great to meet another dallas chicken owner. All the animal and feed stores are still open.
