Probably. Unless you have a brooder. If the mom isn't tame, I don't think they'll be able to be tamed, no matter what you try. To tame them, I'd use a brooder, if possible.

it’s not fair to the mom duck for her to hatch babies just for you to take them right away, so put them back with her even if u have a brooder
