We had a duckling hatch today in our incubator. Do we seperate it from the eggs that aren't hatched yet?

No, it's best not to open the bator, the baby will be fine in there for a day or two, if it starts panting then will have to remove it, but ducks especially need lots of humidity when hatching, and opening the bator will allow it all to escape.

should i put food or water in there for him?

nope, it can live off it's yoke sack for several days. I should also mention, I am not a duck expert, but I believe it is the same for ducklings as it is for Chicks. I will be hatching my first duck egg next week.

Good Luck!

good luck with the hatch!! Thanks for the advice!
