Hi,
I'm a first time chick parent. I got 6 from Tractor Supply and at 8 weeks it looks like 2 are roosters. My neighbors are very close in vicinity and the roosters are already crowing. I'd prefer to not keep them. I don't want to keep them long enough to butcher them. Any respectable ways I can get rid of them?

List them on CL or similar. Don't expect to really get anything for them, I can hardly give cockerels away.

If you don't want to butcher for yourself to eat, you can butcher them, and boil, then feed back to your hens. It sounds cannibalistic but it will not harm them in any way (the hens) and the protein is fantastic. I just have had to do this today. We have close neighbors, and I had 2 roosters out of 8. One was getting really loud and the other one mean. So I butchered them, now they're in the stockpot, and tomorrow I'll let the hens pick at the carcasses.
