what do I have?

I rasied four baby chicks two are R/R's and the other Leg Horn. They are about 51/2 months and starting to lay. The 4th one however is not laying, becoming very mean. Tries to bite me when ever Im in the coop. This bird has white feathers with black borders. (beautiful ) The comb is red but flat. Not standing up like the others. Red on side of face and under . It has a bigger fluffy bottom. I say it cause I am hoping not a rooster. I wondered if she/he has become aggressive because she knows I am collecting the eggs from the others and maybe protentive. Shes hursts when she bites its not like pecking to investigate. I have a 3 year old grandaughter and up till now raising chcikens has been a blast for both of us. Dont want the experience to turn nasty!

It sounds like you have a silver laced Wyandotte. They are beautiful chickens. If you post a picture we would be able to tell if you have a girl or a boy
