What do thin whites mean?

Are your hens older? Barely a year

Is it more than one hen? Seems like it

Are they eating greens from an area that has been fertilized recently? haven't fertilized the yard - I don't want to put them out of a job!

If it's more than one bird it's probably not disease or infirmity. Try a different food maybe?
