I picked up Serama eggs yesterday (some of them could have been 2-3 days old at the time, many were fresh). The Silkie eggs I ordered are coming today. The EE eggs missed a truck, it seems, and aren't coming until tomorrow. I have a still air Hovabator (yes, just one, the other one is on a wish list

If I set the Serama and Silkie eggs tomorrow and the EE eggs Friday (giving time to rest), will it hurt things? I hear the Serama hatch in 19 days. Or do I have to suck it up and stop worrying and just put them all in Friday? (the latter is obviously not my emotional choice

All chicken eggs hatch in 21 days

It doesnt matter if is a bantam or standar size

can you wait and put all the eggs toghether?

if you start with some eggs now

and add eggs later

when the first eggs need to hatch you will need to increase humidity

while the other will need less humidity.

aslo if you dont have a turner
once you are in lockdown to hatch the first eggs
how will you turn the other eggs?

you can hold eggs for up to 7 -10 days before placing them in the incubator
just turn them once a day , on a flat egg carton place all the eggs and just keep one side of the carton higher
and switch sides once a day

hope this helps

So if I set them all together on Friday, will that already cause a problem because of the Seramas? I don't think I can risk waiting on setting the Seramas a couple days later because I don't know how old they are.
