Hi.i still have not bin done any work on the run. Since its bin raining almost every day or its freezing cold
Anyways I use pine chips. But it gets price after wile. They poop so much. I read someplace about people only cleaning the coop once a year. It would brake my heart. I have ocd and clean for the new baby's every 2 days. They are getting bigger abs pooping like crazy. Starting to jump on water container. Food container.
What age or point do we clip there wings? Also we were taking about taking part of the run down Ave extending it thords side of the coop they would have more grass.
Also nice mice issue. Its only rooster in coop now. And I did read about taking food and water out for v the night. Domineering said peppermint spray or plan peppermint around coop

I don't know what kind of coop you have, but some people use sand in their coop and just sift the crap out. As for clipping wings, it will not completely keep them from flying, it will just be a lot harder for them. Any grass that is fenced in will get destroyed, especially if it is a small patch.

You don't arbitrarily clip wings.
I clean my coop floor bedding out once a year. I clean the poop boards daily. My run is as predator-proof as the coop so they have 24/7 access to it and don't spend a lot of time in the coop pooping on the floor.
I use free wood chips in the run. The widest gap into my setup is 1/2". I have no rodent issues.

Sounds like you're cleaning a lot because that's how you want to manage it, or your set up is smaller so it gets dirtier faster. I clean out twice a year, but I could extend it to once a year without issue. I don't pay for my bedding, all my bedding in coop and run are free because they're sourced from my yard (wood chips in the coop, deep litter in run).

You don't need to clip wings if you have no reason to.
