I know these aren't the best pictures but does anyone have an idea whether we've got boys or girls here? We got them at Tractor Supply and they weren't sexed. The bigger one is a lavender orpington, the smaller one is a bantam of some kind. S/he was supposed to be another lavender orpington but alas, Tractor Supply employees are only so good...

At that age I'd guess the two lighter colored ones are cockerels, the dark gray one look like a pullet so far and I can't see the comb/wattles on the brown chick. I'm still new, so wait for others to weigh in.
The darker gray one and the brown one were both sexed so I'm really hoping they're pullets. Goodness knows it wouldn't be the first time we've gotten a surprise though. Haha! It's the two lighter ones I'm questioning. I see them going either way at this point but it has been a while since we've had chicks. We had a surprise human baby (🤣) after a 10 year age gap so we took a break when something got to our last few girls 3 years ago.

I had a cockerel heavy batch of RIR (10C/6P) that had similar looking combs at 5-6 weeks. Several people told me they were likely male, but I was in denial/disbelief that I could be that unlucky, lol.

When reality eventually sank in (8 weeks old) I was actually kind of relieved because they were a fiesty bunch. I was not sad to see them go, but I kept one of sweetest males and all the pullets. :D

Sneaky little roos. Haha.

I was able to get a couple better pictures of the suspects in question. Do these help at all?
