I showed your updated pictures to my friend that raises barred rocks and she said "All pullets". Sigh. Apparently the cockerels at that age are much lighter in color. She said to watch the growth of the wattles and not so much the combs. Basically the cockerel wattles are a deeper red and larger, along with the growth of the comb. All the barred rock cockerels that she has had also seem to be aggressive/dominant early on.
