What do yall think? trading chickens...

I was going to purchase some EEs from a friend awhile back, well now he has some more... So tommarow I might take my 5 red hens up there and trade him those for 6-7 EE pullets? Pullets have about 3 more months untill they lay. My red hens lay about 2-3 eggs a day.

What do yall think? He could make money on them, selling them for $12 each, and I could get some fresh pullets. (+ the eggs im getting to set under my broody from another friend)

I say be very careful and exercise extreme biosecurity, friend or not... Keep them away from your birds for a couple of months.

Yeah I understand, plus if I do take them up there and trade them for the EEs, I need to clean out the coop, put new shavings down...
And the only other hen I'll have will be the little broody EE.
