what do you class as a predator?

I would put a net over the run...even if the seagulls don't attack the ducks they are dirty birds and you don't want them in the run pooping and stealing feed.

My old duck hen got the tar scared out of her when a cat jumped down off of the fence onto her. She flapped for a minute while i stormed after the cat, but died. I think it was a heart attack because there was no blood...either way I suggest the netting.

I have been on the look out for a net but so far so no-good,
i'm off to a pet supplies place tomorrow

Got a good garden store? Some places carry light net to keep birds from eating fruit and/or berries from trees/bushes. This will do the trick as long as you don't have heay weight preditors.

i want something as invisible as possible, the OH is already doing her nut about the garden and they aint done anything to it yet
