What do you do when it's 97 degrees outside????

    Well, around here...in the morning while it is still a bit cooler, we gather up a few of the gang and have us a real hen party!

    Then when it warms up in the afternoon, we take a dip in the hot tub and gaze out at the horses, wishing it was cooler, so we could go riding.

    Wellthis morning i was out at 7 weeding before it got hot or rainy, then i took a bath. Compi time next, fix the kids breakfast, do dishes walk the dog.....

    Go to work where my office is air conditioned. 8 hours of cool enjoyment, except for the having to work part.

    We go a find "Dry" spots in the grass and turn the sprinklers on. The ducks usually join the kids with sprinkler fun. Some hens will join in though most of them will just play with any ice we give them.

    clean the stall and paddock as late as I can.
    Hang in the pool til my fingers prune up [​IMG]
    come inside and sit in the a/c room

    My water trough is currently my brooder, since I didnt need to supply a trough at our current barn. But I have been tossed in troughs many time on many a hot day!

    feed the chickens in the morning..the we haul hay in the hottest part of the day..the i go swimming
