I make a LONGGGGG list of things that I need to get done. I cross off each one as I get finished. Usually they are set on a 2 week time frame, that way if I don't feel quite up to one chore or am having issues with DD in her school work, I have other days to complete it. Nothing worse than a deadline with no flexibility. I never forget to do any of them when I have my running TO DO LIST. Kids will pitch in and help sometimes too if they are done with their chores. I include chores that need to be delegated to others too, like DD's bedroom getting cleaned etc. If she helps me on my chores, I am much more inclined to help her clean her room..even if it's just vacuuming. It motivates both of us and we get A LOT more done!
