What do you do with really long hair?

dog ears up high; dog ears down low, single braid in the center of the back, up high or down low, pull all my hair in front of one shoulder and single braid it there. Pigtails, then cris cross them over hte top of my head, secure with bobby pins, pigtails then pin the bottom up to the top (like the loop-handled lollipops), french twist, bun up high, bun down low, french braid, pony tail, then take the end and pull it over and back down between the rubber band and the head. just pull the top part back into a clip, or do the same thing, with several clips in a row. pull top part back on eacdh side into a clip, then take all that and pull IT into a centered clip lower down.

My hair is around my elbows, too. But, usually, I wear it down, so I'll give a couple tips on wearing it down here.

When I feel like wearing it up, I either put it in a side ponytail (I can't put it in a ponytail in the center- it just doesn't work, and I'm not good at it), loose bun, (gather your hair up like your making a ponytail, but stop at half of your hair length. then, twist the hair tie around that. Twist again, gather up the loose hair that you didn't put up yet, and secure it with another twist around your hair.), or two braids.

My hair is parted to the side, so I like to use clips, bobby pins, etc. It also looks good if you take a shower, braid your hair, and sleep with it in, and take it out in the morning. Its all wavy and very pretty. The more braids you put in the wavier it gets.

That's basically what I wear to school, I'll add more if I can think of some more.

Do a Princess Lia (Star wars) style that should help her out as for what I did when I had long hair I would pull it up to the center of my head and have the wife pin their it worked in the hot summers but Now I just cut it off. I=s she giving it to L.O.L. for the cancer Victims they always need hair.

I've been wearing my hair up in a tight bun since the nice wave of super hot and humid days moved in. The longest parts of my hair reach near the small of my back, board straight and when it's wet (or even humid) it is a pain to deal with. I usually just have my hair in a pony tail but having a lot of hair on my neck in 90 degree heat is no fun.

I want to get it cut soon, partly because summer is hot, partly because I just don't like having super long hair. I grew up with very long hair, cut it crazy short in high school, now I just want a decent midway point. Thanks to my hair deciding it doesn't want to take to dyeing anymore, I have a nice line in my hair where blond turns to brown, so if I get brave I could cut it myself. There is a good 12" I want to rid myself of before summer hits in full swing.

A bonus of keeping it in a tight bun has been that when I let it down, it is very wavy and looks pretty.

DDs is to her waist... simple braid is usually her thing, now and again two braids ala pigtails... either of those can then be pinned up and it prevents her hair from tangling... she HATES tangles... and I hate being the bad guy who makes her cry when I have to brush them out.

Mine is always twisted up in a kind of bun/knot at the base of my neck.... very blah...

DD #1's hair come down to around her waist. She just throws it up in a mess on the top of her head.
DD#2's hair comes down past the bend of her knees. She either wears it braided in just a plain
straight braid or her mom will French braid it. Sometimes when she is playin softball she will
braid it in pig tails. She has to pretty well keep it braided or pulled up on her head or she sits
on it when she sits down.
