What do you do with the innards and blood?

Getting ready to process 28 birds on August 1st. How do you guys dispose of everything without attracting critters or stinking up your farm?

we processed 9 this morning and our garbage truck ran today so ours went to the garbage the blood is poured on the ground and then sprayd with the water hose. they say you can put it around fruit trees and it will help them grow I don't know I have never done that before.

Burn it, bury it, if you live in a very rural area, feed the vultures. FAR FAR AWAY from your house. I will probably take ours about five miles away, into the open range pasture land, and dump it. Dont do it anywhere close to homes of farms though!

I try to compost mine but It's more like feeding the varmits and vultures....

We feed the guts and carcasses to the dogs and cats. They love them and eat them up fast. And the free range chickens love to get in on this too.

The hearts, livers, gizzards and necks are kept for ourselves, blood is dumped on the compost pile with lime, and the remainder goes into the waste. As I am putting it into the garbage can, I'll throw some lime in with it. It keeps the smell down.

seal it in an old coffee container, put that in a trash bag and save in the fridge until the morning the garbage man comes...

We just take ours to the bottom of the pasture...I guess that's about 500 yards from the house. We never see, hear or smell of it again. Max we've done is 6 birds at a time though. 28 is a lot, better eat your Wheaties!

Our dogs make a mess with ours. They drag it up to the house to enjoy it. Best to burn it. It really does make the neighborhood smell like someone's grilling. If you bury it, make it deep so nothing digs it up.
