What do you do with unexpected roosters?

ok - so I'm not opposed to turning them into dinner (not my own, I don't eat chicken) but how old do they need to be before you process them?

I shipped mine off to my brother's place in the country, although I am still trying to find them more permanent homes - but that probably won't help you.

You could try and work with your local Farm Sanctuary organizations: http://www.sanctuaries.org/

They should at least be able to post an adoption notice for you.

I don't know if I could eat them. I could probably get it on the table but actually putting it in my mouth is the problem. My brain stops me.
I give mine away. Post them on the local website for chicken fanatics.
