GM supported us well during my growing up years, my Dad worked there from age 17 til he retired at 62. So we have always been Chevy or Buick people. There were a few 'slips' where we thought we would try some other make but we were never really satisfied with them. I'm not trying to make judgments on anyone, we all need to do what's right for each of us, but hear so many people complaining about the economy here in MI especially. Yet I see that they are driving foreign cars, and not showing any loyalties at all to the companies that took care of us for so many years. I'll try to stay loyal to those companies as long as I can.

My Dad worked for GM for 27 years until they closed the plant, my Mom worked there for 11 years until the plant closed. I am a big believer of "Buy American and Americans Work". I remember when stores like Wal-Mart used to believe the same way.

93 F250 7.3l diesel with 305K miles. I love my Truck. A little Chevy driven by a stereotypical blonde slid on a icy/snow corner and caught my rear bumper by the corner------$2000.00 of damage to her car, ripped open like with a giant can-opener. The slight bend on my bumper, I tapped back in place with a sledge hammer. I love my Truck.

We drive a Vito Mercedes! and a Iszuzu Bakkie (Truck)

My 02 avalanche chevy, is my favorite vehicle. For all my hauling needs it's great. We are babysitting a brand new ford 150 for our friend overseas. I've been driving it for a week. I like my chevy! Going back a forth to town. 30 miles round trip. I drive my 1987 BMW 325i the odometer broke at 250K, it's a blast to drive. But no radio so I have to brake out my nano ipod.

Me too!!! Love our Subarus! Mine are named--"Suzie Q" and "River Blue."

i have the 04 Impreza TS and the dh has an 06 Outback (had to give up his 97 due to many expensive repairs/issues during inspection

). only issue i have with mine is the frost heaves right now in our area and how low the TS is to the ground versus the regular Impreza, the 6 or so heat shields tend to loosen often.

We have a 2007 Impreza Hatchback (20,000 miles on it now) and a 2000 Impreza Sedan with only 60,000 miles on it. Love them both as we live in Oregon where it rains all winter and if it goes below freezing (thank goodness not too often) everything turns to ice. Great for going to Mt. Hood for winter fun or skiing. These babies with All Wheel Drive are so much safer than 4 wheel drives on ice/snow. The right size for just the two of us and I feel safer in them then the normal sedans.
