What do you feed chicks after 8 weeks?

Chick starter or what? Medicated?

I feed Gamebird & Turkey Grower Crumbles. It has a higher protein content than chick grower.
I don't feed anything medicated unless I see that they need it.

depends what line of food your feeding

If its purina you leave them on starter/grower till you get first egg, if its a line that has starter and grower seperated then you switch them to the grower till they lay. Read your bag, it will tell you when to switch.

I used Purina starter/grower until my chicks were 18 weeks old. Then I switched to Purina layer pellets.
