I have 13 week hens. I’m still feeding chick starter. Is this okay? Should I feed something else?

Thank youStarter until just about to lay.
Personally I use Purina flock raiser with oyster shell on the side for any that need the calcium for their whole life. Starter with oyster shell would be fine for their whole life. I typically recommend against layer as even laying birds don't always need all the calcium in layer. If you are determined to use layer, then wait for the first egg/first egg from each breed before switching. Some will say to mix the feed during transition. 1. To make it easier on the birds digestion. 2. (I very much agree with this) to not waste feed.I have 13 week hens. I’m still feeding chick starter. Is this okay? Should I feed something else?
