what do you feed your ducks? how much of it?

no i dont think there'd be any difference either way you went i keep mine just on flockraiser/all flock from the get go and just add free choice oyster for my girls that are laying and they've done great and its simple then having to switch between three feeds and with feeding flockraiser i can just add my young girls to my older ones after introducing them and not having to worry about the excess calcium thats in the layer as flockraiser just has a little and the oyster shell is in a seperate feeder and the young girls wont mess with it since their bodies dont need it.

Thanks so much! And it isn't too much protein for them as they get older? Do you supplement niacin with flock raiser?

I'm not in the US, so my products probably don't apply, i use a multipurpose feed that is good from day 1 and usually switch to a grower pellet(my current pellet suggests week 8) ... that is 16%... i will add whole grains for my adults too. All my ducks free range except the calls but they are on the ground not raised penned.

I feed my ducklings Mazuri Waterfowl Starter. My 3 are 4 and 5 weeks old, they eat about 4-5 cups a day. I will start them on flock raiser at 10 weeks.
