what do you feed your keets

I fed my first keets medicated chick starter before I knew any better and they were perfectly fine? All 14 lived.. ? So it cant be that bad 14/14 live?

I have used both chick starter and gamebird starter, depending on the situation.

I've given broody hens Guinea eggs, then a week later added chicken eggs. That way they all hatch at the same time. Those chicks and keets will get 20% medicated chick starter, with no ill effects on the keets. Right now I have two white Guinea keets in with two peachicks and they get the 20% feed because higher protein causes leg problems in peafowl.

If I raise a brood of just keets they will get the gamebird starter.
