What do you feed your peachicks???

Is it OK to give them the Starter/Grower that we feed the chicks?

Yes, chick starter is fine. I have used it on all my peachicks I hatch and never had a problem. As they get older they will require more protien in their diet, so I add bits of cat food,dog food,canned dog food, catfish pellets aswell as bird seeds, fruits etc. to my pea's free range diet and starter. Some people go by the "book" and only feed turkey or gamebird starter/grower but mine get bored with that menu. If they do not free range then I would stick to the gamebird and add the others listed as only treats. You can go to the UPA's website for more info, but I have raised over 16 on this diet as well as turkeys.
