What do you feed your quail?

Just looking for different input on what everyone feeds their quail? What kind of feed,snacks,etc. Also what brands? Right now I feed mine Purina game bird feed with some different greens from my garden, tomato plants clippings, and oyster shell. I am looking into finding feed with a higher protein than 20%. What do you feed your quail and how is it working for you? Thank you for all of your input.

i thought you arent supposed to feed birds tomato clipping because they are poisonous

Personally, I feed Prince Gamebird 28% their whole lives, but then I raise them for dog training, so the lifespan isn't longer than about 15 weeks or so. Birds I keep over winter to be breeders the next spring are fed the same all winter. I have no idea how Pince compares to other brands. It happens to be what they sell at the local feed store.

I feed mine nutrina country feed, game bird starter 28% protein. They also get greens, chickweed, alfalfa an,swiss chard.
