what do you get if you breed standard to bantam

You get a Stantam or a Bantard depending on the genetics involved. That is my professional opinion & not recognized by the American Poultry Association.

You get a Sand-Am. Half as big as a Standard and half again bigger than a Bantam...

I dont know either....but I too will be able to tell ya in about 10 days. My poor little Banty Cochin Frizzle...she will NOT go in the bantam pen...she wants to be with the big girls...and boys. So...her fertile egg is in the bator...the daddy?? Either a BO, or a Cuckoo Maran. Poor little frizz frizz.

You get medium sized birds. My first hens are all from bantam moms and an EE dad.

I believe I have one. She is a Polish mix, I think the Polish in her is the bantam and the other is unknown.

She is lovely allot small than the RIR's I have but bigger than my freinds' bantam. She has a wonderful disposition.
And actually the only one laying go figure.
