Yes that is what we appear to have. We bought 12 Pekin eggs but they do not look a thing like a pekin. The first 2 that hatched had black racing stripes from beak to tail, the third was mostly yellow, but not dry, the 4th is mostly black with yellow wing tips, and yellow spotted feet. HMmm. We still have 5 eggs to see what else we can get for a combination. The seller is baffled and only has Kaki's and Pekins. He thinks that perhaps they got out of the pens... ???
Can a Pekin and a Kaki actually cross and be ok? Has anyone ever had this and found favorable traits? Thanks.
