What do you get when you cross Rusty with a D'uccle?

You get this cute little thing... that I am afraid MIGHT be a rooster.

It is 2 weeks and 3 days old today!

I know it is early, but this is my first ever D'uccle chick. I am wondering, boy or girl.

pullet. the feathers arent dark enough to be cockerel.

I appreciate the input.. My heart sadly screams ROO too.
I would LOVE for it to be a pullet as it is my favorite of
5 eggs hatched, and this was the only D'uccle.

I think I may know by next week, but just had to ask.

I own both parents, but only have 9 hens. I really can't have another rooster. ooo and I think a D'uccle roo would be awesome!

well.. let's see. this little roo is from a hatch of 5. I think the others are girls. And my cochin is sitting on 2 more d'uccle eggs.... if they are girls. that will be 7..... almost there already!

then to remove hubby.. he wants no more roos too. he and Rusty are in cahoots!

Beautiful birds! I have 4 mille fleur d uccle, and I think 3 of them are roos. I'll just have to wait and see I guess! I'm really praying they are not!

Will you please post pictures when you have more? I have 4 Millies and think that I may have gotten more roosters than hens. I would love for you to post pictures when you know for sure.

chickenguysmom....I will post more pictures next week as thing develop ...... sigh. People do not seem to take many pics of their babies at 2 - 4 weeks old because they look so bad with scattered feathers.. at least I guess that's why.

more and more I believe it is a HE. maybe even tomorrow I will take some pictures.
