Dunno if I’m in the right section as I’m new

can anyone tell Me what you get when you cross coloured Orpingtons....

I Can find info Online on blue/black/splash but no Other colours

please Can people Help fill in my missing Info

Blue (Bb) X Blue (Bb) = 50% Blue (Bb), 25% black (BB), 25% Splash (bb)

Blue (Bb) X Splash (bb) = 50% Blue (Bb), 50% Splash (bb)

Blue (Bb) X Black (BB) = 50% Blue (Bb), 50% Black (BB)

Splash (bb) X Black (BB) = 100% Blue (Bb)

Black (BB) X Black (BB) = 100% Black (BB)

Splash (bb) X Splash (bb) = 100% Splash (bb)

Splash x buff ?

Blue x buff ?

Black x buff ?

Cuckoo x buff ?

Cuckoo x blue ?

Buff x blue ?

Goodness, how many roosters do you have? Or are you trying to pick a rooster?

I have two...of an getting two ...a buff and a blue...have around twenty hens so just want them all flocking together rather than keeping pure....

Black x buff = black w/ buff leakage (can vary from a pseudo birchen pattern to completely buff with a black tail)

Blue x buff = same as black x buff except 50% of the offspring will have blue instead of black

Splash x buff = all offspring will be blue w/ varying amounts of buff leakage

Cuckoo (rooster) x buff (hen) = all cuckoo offspring (roos will only have one copy of the cuckoo gene) with varying amounts of buff leakage

Buff (rooster) x cuckoo (hen) = cuckoo roos (one copy of the gene) w/ buff leakage, black hens w/ buff leakage

Cuckoo (rooster) x blue (hen) = all cuckoo offspring (roos will only have one copy of the cuckoo gene), 50% of the offspring will be blue cuckoo

Blue (rooster) x cuckoo (hen) = cuckoo roos (one copy of gene), solid colored hens, 50% of the offspring will be black and 50% will be blue

Any of the buff crosses could produce silver patterned offspring if the black/blue/splash or cuckoo parent has the silver gene.
