When breeding Marans, if black x blue = 50% blue 50% black
what does black copper x blue = ?

THe blue & black will work the same, but breeding a copper to a non-copper will cause you to lose some of the genes that create the copper pattern. I'm not sure of the genetic makeup of copper, so I don;t know how that would affect the first generation, but in subsequent generations you couple end up with one who are quite far from the colour standard/
