What do you guys do to keep mosquitoes out of your run?

long term idea to slowly cut down the skeeter population: keep a couple of containers with water that will go stagnant. Keep mosquito dunks in them. The skeeters will gravitate to the standing water to lay their eggs and the larva won't survive. Mosquitos spend their whole lives in a relatively small area. They do not travel far at all.
Not a bad idea....would be good to see lots of dead larvae in the 'traps'.

Skeeter dunks contain, I think, a bacterium that attacks the mosquito larvae. It's definitely a biological control, a tiny creature that goes after the larvae, and it won't hurt anything else. I've used them in ponds full of other bug-things and an assortment of fish, frogs, and tadpoles, and it doesn't hurt anything.
