What do you guys think of my coop?

Anything i should change on it? threw it together with some pallets and screws. I hope to put 2 Bantom Chochin's.

Nice! You will need to put hardware cloth on the bottom part to reinforce those gaps and a hardware cloth skirt around the bottom so stuff can't dig under.
Your nest box needs to be anchored down too so it does not tip over.

Okay never thought of that for sure i will get some hardware cloth. The nest box I am thinking of building 2 on the side that will be where that box is in the photo. I cant fit 2 of those in there, and it was easier to keep the pallet dimension as it was. Or you think i can get by with one nest box?

Yes, I think it would be a great idea to paint it.

You can get by fine with one box for two birds, and yes paint the inside if you get bugs you'll thank me.
Forgot you need good sturdy raccoon proof latches for your front door, the top is probably fine since pallet wood is heavy as a mofo.

What about a small window cut out and covered with hardware cloth for ventilation?......that could get mighty warm in summer heat. Even in the winter, ventilation is essential.

True! Very true! And side note anchor any hardware cloth with screws and washers you want that stuff on there good!

Okay my dudes and dudets, i built the inside of the coop. You guys think the roost is high enough? I put it six inches off the bottom of the coop, and this gives them about a foot and a half from the top of the roof. Also i hop the egg boxes are sufficient. Check out this little video tour i did.
