I have an old Tupperware tub that I drilled two holes side by side at the top and drilled a few holes for drainage. I just took a piece of wire and wired it to the run door at chest height for the pullets.

But mine is plastic. They just hang on the hardware cloth and they are easy to clean. I have a couple of them in different areas.

After reading this thread the other day I was at TSC and saw little metal pails that I thought would be a perfect size for oysters and some other treats like yogurt and stuff. So I put the oysters out there thinking this was a brilliant change to what I was using. This morning it was on it's side. Can't have nice things.
