What do you make? Handcrafted / Handmade / Made with Love

Stained glass... my hobby is stained glass and Christmas time is ALWAYS busy! I make all kinds of things for craft shows;windows, ornaments, nightlights...you name it! This year, my shows were cancelled due to the virus, but I secured an order for the area hospice fundraiser. So, that helps. Heres this years order. It's just the prototype, but the final are in the kiln as we speak! 20201009_132300.jpg

Well, that's why you need runes/ogham sticks. :lau They DO have letters written on them!

It would be like alphabet soup. We all pushed the letters together to form the word we wanted to see in the soup...nobody just stirred and saw "well done" lol!

Gorgeous! I have watched in awe while artists make glass pieces but I will never be brave enough to try!

Go ahead and give it a try! It's really not hard, just takes some time to master. I work in traditional stained glass as well as fused glass.

My husband's parents live in Cape Cod and there are a ton of glass artists there. There is one man in particular that allows people to come watch while he works (at least he did before covid) I could sit and watch for hours...at a safe distance of 15-20 feet from the hot fire. lol :gig

Knitting. Afghans, sweaters, hats, and 2 Toe Up Magic Loop Socks. I also quilt. I have a brand new Baby Lock and a Long Arm Quilting Machine. I was gonna learn how to use the Long Arm this year but Covid Came along. I can crochet but don't do so much of that as knitting.

My other greatest hobby is my chickens. LOL

I'm a professional longarm quilter, but I like to make the quilts too! I make gift quilts, donation quilts, memory and T-shirt quilts, and quilts on demand. I also make egg aprons, cooking aprons, tote bags, and feed sack tote bags.
Crochet gets fitted in when I have the time and I grow herbs and English roses, which in addition to just flat out loving to grow them, I dry them for all natural culinary, personal care, and home care items such as rose petal bath salts, lavender balms, or thyme cleaner.
All of which I use as we are sensitive skinned here.
I also like making fudge and cheese from fresh milk when I have dairy animals.
