Here's another of my coiled horsehair baskets. It's my biggest one yet at 7" in diameter. I think it turned out very well. I do take custom orders for my baskets, but the bases are all pretty much one of a kind, and I would need an entire tail in order to ensure I had enough hair for larger ones like this. Message me if you're interested--I have tons of bases to choose from, both horse themed and non-horse themed!

Hello! Poking my head in here. I have wanted for the longest time to get into things like sewing and embroidery, and last Friday I got my first sewing machine! I'm working on a crib quilt right now. I've made a skirt out of a tablecloth, and I've been figuring out the bare basics of embroidery today. I'm very excited! It's been a long time coming.
Made these leaves.

I picked up some yarn about 2 days ago and decided to make a shawl, my second attempt so far at making a shawl. The first was a fail, but this one is going pretty well! I'm using a Lion Brand Mandala yarn called Tranquil, and this pattern:

Oh yes, I've seen those! I do a lot of art, including some watercolor, and I want to try doing watercolor embroidery pieces eventually. I'd love to see yours.
