What's the point of stealing Cornish Cross.. not to sounds cruel, their life span is so short... Why not steal, egg layers, that live in terrible condition for way longer?


I wonder what the area he lives in is like? Could they be many poor people, looking for futuer food?
Or did he simply upset the wrong person?

The town where the farm is pretty rural in central Mass. The owner believes it may have been animal activists seeing they only stole the birds leaving thousands of dollars of tools and equipment behind.

Sounds like PETA to me....

Especially after their stunt a few years ago going after beekeepers because sometimes bees get squashed when putting more supers on established hives.

Though I am all for ethical treatment of animals, PETA and the like take it to the point of ridiculousness.
