What do you prefer the most? Goose, duck, chicken or roster?

What does that even mean?
Poultry is livestock for most people, though I have had favorites. Making pets out of a class of animals almost everything eats is bound for heart break. Unless you have fort Knox set up.

Oops. I already made that mistake lol. Little Big is my pet. Though I usually call him my 'show bird' so it sounds less so.

I'm not saying it's a mistake, I'm just saying it's hard. A few chickens do like to be petted and close to people.

He may get baths. He may get walked on a leash. And yes. I will grieve quite hard when he passes. However, I have learned that I only need 1 chicken to baby around like that and it will keep me busy. I'm definitely not as close with my hens.

Well, roosters and chickens are the same....

Chickens for me just because of the colors and I'm more familiar with them, though I also really like ducks and geese as second and third choices respectively.

Maybe change chickens to hens? Or layers vs meat birds ... Idk technically roosters are chickens.

Just in case you didnt know:
Ducks - type of poultry - there are hens (females) and drakes (males)

Geese - type of poultry - TBH I am not familiar with this type of poultry but I know there are females and males and I believe they are called hens and gander respectively.

Chicken - Type of Poultry - there are hens (female) and roosters (male)

Rooster - Male gender of chickens

I prefer chickens. And I prefer keeping hens and roosters. Although I love my ladies, roos just have a way to my heart. So do chicks.

That's an inherently bad idea, kids can be too rough for poultry.
