What do you put eggs in to give away?

So you've got a lot of eggs and you want to give them away but don't want to buy containers you'll likely never get back.

What do you put the eggs in so thye won't break?

But if you don't spend money of cartons since people won't give them back won't it be the same if you use something else?

The people that I give eggs to usually buy eggs and just get them occasionally from me. They know that I need extra cartons so they save their store bought egg cartons for me.

This is what I do, too! I use the clear cartons to show off the egg colors.

For folks who I'm giving eggs to, they're usually family/friends/neighbors and are part of my carton supply anyway, so I don't mind giving them a free container. For folks I sell to, I charge 50 cents for a carton and if they provide thjeir own I knock that off the price per dozen.

I buy the cartons at TS (69 cents locally) for my own and giving use. I accept donations to offset cost. I have to do something with extra eggs...either give to people I like or dump in woods for wildlife.
