What do you store your feed in? Where? Post a pic!

I have dial-up and can't post pics very well....it would take years! Sorry! I can try to describe it. I took one length of large, white PVC pipe of approx. 3 ft. long and sawed a 2-3 in. strip out of one side, along the length of it. The ends fit into L-pieces and are glued and screwed. Then 2 lengths of 3 ft. PVC fits into the top of the L-joints, also glued and screwed, with smooth end caps. This is attached to the wall using hose clamps around 2x2s (to bring it out from the wall a little) and for quick release, if needed. It is attached with these hose clamps around the upright tubes. I fill up the 2 tubes from the top, on both sides. Sometimes I fill one side with oats and the other with laying mash, depending on what I feel like feeding at the time. This whole feeder must be mounted level or one tube will empty well and evenly and the other has to be tapped or thumped to evenly dispense the feed. When mounted, it will resemble a large, square U-shaped configuration. I have virtually no feed waste now, as the birds cannot scratch or flick the feed from this trough and the sides are too smooth for perching....so no poop in the feed. I have a small flock of 10 birds and I can fill this feeder every 4-5 days. I hope you can picture it from my description! Feel free to ask any questions to clarify a point.

We also use those grey colored storage totes, we bought them orginally when we drove for three days, moving from CA to NE - we had one tote for each of us, to pack clothing, pillows, towels etc.. we used on the triip - now we have one with chicken food, one with horse food, and one with either the chicken scratch in winter or sunflower/bird seed mix in summer.
(the fourth tote is an extra laundry tote now)
