What do you think about psychics?

When I was younger, I used to go to psychics, for the fun of it. It was pretty cheap entertainment.
Once I went to a psychic fair, got there just as it was opening, and heard a couple of the psychics talking about "another day of spirituality for fun and profit" Didn't care for that, so I didn't spend my money at their booths.

At the same fair I had a reading from a young woman from Vancouver BC. Some of the stuff she said was fairly obvious. But there was a few things that were a bit uncanny. She said I lived in a 1 story apt, but she did not understand how, because she saw it on the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor. ( At the time I lived in a 1 story, 3rd floor apt, but it was built on the side of a steep hill. One side was the 3rd floor, and the other end of the apt was the 2nd floor) Somewhere I have the reading on tape. I'll have to look for it, because I don't remember the details.
Don't know if she was legit, but it was fun.

I thought it was fun too. I do definitely believe some people are legitimately more sensitive to energy, but I wouldn't run out and spend all my money on lottery tickets after paying to see one just because they said I was going to win. It will be interesting to see if any of the stuff he said will happen actually does.

As for me, I've felt more sensitive to some animals at certain points in my life. Sometimes I feel like I know exactly what is going on in their heads. One time I was at the bird sanctuary where I worked and got the strange sensation this green wing macaw wanted some attention. I had a clear image in my head of myself petting the bird. This was a bird that would normally try to bite off my fingers if I went to touch her, but I took the chance and strange enough, she put her head down and let me pet her for quite a while. Usually my experiences are little things like that. Sometimes I will think about my cat and wish she would come to me on the bed/couch/etc and sure enough, a few minutes later she will be there. Or I'll start thinking about a particular person and a few minutes later I'll see that person. It's just little things like that that cause me to wonder if there is some truth to it. Once again, I don't go out calling myself a psychic and trying to make money though!

They scare me. I am married to the great grand daughter of a Hungarian Gypsy (as in caravan Gypsy) queen. She is a scarey woman. I must behave because she can read me like a book. Upon occassion she has had foresight about incidents before they happen. She has an uncanny ability to read people. Amazingly she loves me.

They are like ghosts to me. Everyone has an amazing story, but I can't say I have anything to write home about myself.

There was a famous physic from Florida that advertised on late night TV that was jailed for fraud and tax evasion I cannot remember her name but I do remember her not seeing getting caught coming.

I once had my palm read by a genuine gypsy while in Greece years ago, it was really pretty cool but not real accurate as time has proven LOL. But it was worth the fun of spending some time in their camp, as I look back it was a very fond memory.

I believe some (very few) people actually can be true psychics.. (I've been read by 2 of them)
All the others?? They are just good a reading people and have some lucky guesses.

A lot of it has to do with the natural things we say. I am not a store front psychic fan. They are masters at reading people and use it to their advantage. However, there are people the are born with an incredible gift that likely haunts them throughout their lives.

They do exist, IMHO, and they do not hang out a sign.
