This chicken is a barnyard cross of a Road Island Red hen and a Barred Rock rooster. The chick was hatched in September. All the other chickens hatched at the same time are clearly hens laying eggs or roosters that are Crowing. This chicken makes a sound like a cat meowing. I assumed this chicken was a rooster because of the tail but it has a hen like head. What do you think??
