What do you think--getting married, wedding cake toppers in chickens?

I make cakes and it would be easier to make rice crispy treats and shape it as a chicken body (not head) and cover in fondant. Take a tooth pick and make the feathers in it. Use some thin dowels for the legs also covered in fondant. Make the head out of gumpaste or fondant, you may need a tooth pick to hold up the head. Dress one in a veil and the other with a bow tie. It would be super cute!!!

leitha, kind of wondering if she shouldn't just do them in Fimo. At least that way they could keep them, maybe put them on a book shelf after the wedding.

The OP mentioned that she doesn't think her Aunt has workd with fondant before. A lady I know at the craft store has a daughter who is a pastry chef. She said her daughter buys the books that show you how to make stuff out of Sculpey and Fimo, but makes them out of pastillage, which I believe is stronger than fondant( but not sure)

How about a set of little birthday candle holders? They would be great baby shower gifts. You could sell them in a pretty little storage basket/box. You sell a set of ten, and reuse them every year until the 'baby' is ten years old. (I had a porcelain set as a child. I have also seen them in silver-plate).
How about chicken refridgerator magnets?Chicken dangly earrings? Chicken Christmas tree ornaments?
