Ruffles (frizzle) young hen was 7-8 months old approx hadn’t started laying. I noticed she was a bit lethargic about 2 days ago when it was easier to pick her up. I went to her nesting box this morning and thought she was dead but picked her up and she was still alive….just. Google told us probably heat stroke as it’s been really hot where I am but she’s always had access to water our two other chickens seem fine. We started treating her as she had heat stroke. Cooled her down and gave her electrolytes by syringe. Symptoms - Her eyes were quite red and extremely lethargic. No panting/ heavy breathing, Couldn’t move today. We are absolutely gutted. I have attached a photo of her today and one when she seemed well 2 weeks ago.
Thanks

There are many things that chickens can get sick with. There are not always easy solutions to correct that. I think you keeping her cooler inside home or wherever,, is a possible solution, if it is heat related.
Keep giving her water via syringe. Don't overdose with electrolytes BTW. A little is better than too much.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome
