I'd say staffie due to the big! head

maybe some hound contributing to the markings? beagle, maybe.

He does have a giant noggin! I will do some genetic tests bc, lord knows, I’ve looked at A LOT of dogs on google trying to suss it out. I moved and my new vet immediately asked if was part greyhound bc of the muscularity of his legs.

He definitely has some kind of hound in him. And his head shape points to a bully breed. Probably pitbull,

Doberman face.. some hound or lab.. or husky.. Them bones them dry bones.. no matter how much you try and fatten em' up.. and yes some greyhound is possible, the stance and lower half.. Post script: The curly tail says Basenji.. Australian Bush dog.. which doesn't bark.

the head is too big. The APBTS have much slimmer heads. Plus they are a rare breed, not likely to be mixed in with a shelter mix

Umm, pitbulls have big heads. Also, how are they rare? Almost every dog I see in shelters is a pitbull mix.

In my google research I found pictures of “sable tricolor pitbulls” that have almost the exact same markings on as his coat.
