That is the nicest coop I've ever seen. Wow. Can't believe you did that for around $1000. Nice job! How close are you to Virginia? Want to come build one for me?
Actually I'm from South Carolina if I would.
By the way Grandpa with chickens your coops are great like I said I would love to have mine fenced like yours I would take a really small coop if they could have a fence to run in. GREAT! JOB!!
HI!! guys I just cleaned the barn and power washed it I'm gonna post some new photos
This is a hole my dad cut when he built it
for whenever we have free range chickens and fence in that corner they can come in the barn we will prob build another little stall for free range and the runs for our Big layers.
Here is some pics of the guinea's roosting some of you said it was to slippery but here a pic
And here is another of one of my small coops we will prob put the roosters in till we sell um.
And last of um here is that back corner I want to fence in it will got to those back trees all the way to that hole in the barn.
This little pink house is what our goats will be staying in at night
Everyone here has great coops....I wish I had all of them....I'm just starting and it has been a few months in the works, with Back Fusion Surgery in between....this is where I'm at....lot's to do yet and I'm real slow. It's made out of Hemlock rough-cut....building will be 6 x 10 with 6 x 10 covered run. Old used rusty chicken hse. tin for my roof....nice rustic look.
For my run, I've used chain link framed by treated 2 x 4's. lined with chicken wire on the lower 2 feet...
As you can see, a flat area is premium on my property...but the challenge is fun. I still want to add a flight pen (12 x 40 x 6) for turkeys or pheasants
I will post when I'm closer to being finished....you folks set the bar to high however!!!
