What do you think of our Pet Sitting cards?

I like the website on the front, it's easy to find and "in your face" about more information. On the back, is there a possibility of putting which animals you are qualified to work with or if you are available on holidays or weekends?

Hope you don't mind my nosiness, but I checked out the website. Based on that, I have a couple more thoughts:

1. I think you should add all those other services that you list on your website! "Kennel free boarding, their home sitting, grooming", etc I would never have known you do all that based on your card.

2. I hope this doesn't come out bad, and mind you, I am no pet sitting expert and I also don't live in or know about your area, but your prices seem CRAZY cheap!! Are you just starting out? If so, don't feel like you have to be the cheapest in town to attract business, because sometimes if people see prices too low they get concerned and think something must be lacking for the price.

One example is: Only five bucks more for a second in-home visit? I hope they live real close, you could spend that in gas alone to drive back and that doesn't even count your time or care. I just don't want to see you low-ball yourself in hopes of winning customers. I could be wrong, like I said, I don't know your area, but those prices seem insanely low to me. Just some feedback to consider. Very nice website by the way.

PS: I really hope my input isn't out of place, I know you only asked about your cards, I'm just wishing the best for you.

I wholeheartedly agree about the prices. You may be doing yourself a disservice by charging so little. Think about it - once word gets out and you have alot of customers, is the money you are bringing in worth the effort you are putting forth.

Competition! You and I shall meet on the pet sitting field of battle!!!
JK lol , the cards look very nice. I agree with the peoples saying you should charge a bit more. Maybe you could have a 'trial' period for new customers where the prices are that low.

I enjoyed your website's organization and I love the business card. What a cute image and like someone else mentioned, not cluttered. But I really think you should consider your prices. Your website looks professional but to charge so little to do so much (like driving twice a day for $20 is a lot of work already, not to mention the pet care involved)! Maybe put a list of some of your services on the back instead of putting the website info again. If it was possible to do it with Vistaprint you could also try using the same image but enlarging it/stretching it a little, making it opaque and setting it into the background (on the back of the card) and then put your services info text over the image.

I don't mind at all, we are just starting out so any and all feedback is appreciated.

1. I was just talking about that with my mom. I think putting that on the back of the card would be good. I am just trying to figure out the right wording.

2. There aren't to many people that do "in your home pet sitting" I found a website for one person and they charge $12 per visit and $1.50 per additional dogs. I know of two other people that do pet sitting but they don't have websites so I can't just look and see

First impression... I don't want you to be my best friend, I want you to be honest, trustworthy and reliable. Maybe something about 'take care of your best friend' ? Then again... not everyone thinks of their pet as their best friend. Sorry, the tagline just doesn't work for me.

I do like the clean, spare design.

I didn't look at your prices but from the comments I'll reiterate that you should NOT lowball your rates. If anything, make them a touch on the high side and then offer a 20% discount -- I did this with my photography, people *love* discounts.

You can always lower your rate. It's much harder to raise it. Of course you don't want to price yourself completely out of the market, but don't sell yourself short.
