Wow. I really like the hen. She could use a bit more of a "poof" in her cushion, but otherwise very neat, clean and typey.
The cock, he looks ok. I'd say that his head is a little bit weak and looks like he could have a slight crow head. How old is he? If he's a young bird less then six or seven months old, there's a good chance his comb and wattles will get larger and that will help fill out his face.
As far as the fighting injuries, I can hardly see any from the pictures. If they're that negligible anywhere else, than yep, he'd be okay to show. You just don't want to bring birds with huge scratches and scabs all over their faces.

whats a crow head? and his inujries are that the other rooster pulled out his head feathers

thanks about the hen but she has a little bit of a stringy back is there a way i can groom her to get that to go away

i have anther rooster i can post picks of later

i cant beleive i got the pair in a silent auction at the show for only 25 dollars

Crow head is a defect in which the head is longer in appearance accompanied by a small, weak looking comb and wattles. Birds with this defect should not be shown or bred.
By stringy back, is that from her being with the roosters? Or is she dirty? Or (last one, I swear) is it the actual feather, like the feathers themselves are stringy?

I wish I could have gotten my cochins for a price like that! But buyer beware. Gotta ask yourself "OK. Why are these birds being sold and why are they being sold so cheap?"
Hopefully the hen's feathers are just from rooster attention or being dirty and not genetic.

But yes, please post pics of the other boy.

no i bid on the birds that cheaplol i got a pair from john burgess and one from tom roebuck lol. my best hen from john burgess died from a heart attack unfortunately now i only have one hen .im getting two more at the show from jamie matts line

i just bought a five month old rooster and he is a bit slight in the head. He decided yesterday to get in a fight with a frizzle at the show yesterday and he's all nasty ill post pics to show you his head. Ill post pics of my hens which are about 5 months old as well they are a bit weak in the roundness department

John Burgess. I'd get rid of the Tom Roebuck one as fast as possible. The black in the feathers, the poor cushion....I just don't like that bird at all. Can we get more photos of the John Burgess cock?

the tom roebuck one just has dirt on it and i think the lack of cushion is due to the angle of the picill go get more pics of the other cock asap
